Marjorie Cohen

Marjorie Cohen is an economist and professor emeritus of political science and gender, sexuality and women’s studies at Simon Fraser University. She has written extensively in the areas of political economy and public policy with emphasis on women, labour, energy, climate change, and international trade agreements. Her book Climate Change and Gender in Rich Countries: Work Public Policy and Action will be available in 2017. She was instrumental in founding the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives' BC Office and was awarded the John Kenneth Galbraith Prize in Economics and Social Justice.
