Registration and tickets
Advance online registration and ticket sales are now closed. You can purchase conference registration and single session tickets at the door throughout the weekend.
Full conference registration includes the opening keynote on Friday night, all Saturday and Sunday sessions, lunch on Saturday, and coffee and pastries on Saturday and Sunday.
If you have donated at least $50 to Parkland in the last 12 months, you qualify for supporter rates for full conference registration. If you are not currently a Parkland supporter, you can also qualify for supporter rates by visiting our website to make a one-time or monthly donation to Parkland prior to registering.
Conference registration packages and pre-ordered individual tickets can be picked up at the registration table in ETLC (Engineering Teaching and Learning Complex) upon arrival at the conference from 6:15 pm - 7:00 pm on Friday, November 18, from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 19, and from 8:30 am – noon on Sunday, November 20.
Getting to the conference
The Friday evening keynote and all Saturday and Sunday sessions take place in ETLC (Engineering Teaching and Learning Complex) on the University of Alberta's Main Campus. The entrance to ETLC is located on the east side of the building located on 116 Street between 91 Avenue and 92 Avenue.
ETLC is an accessible building, with physically accessible ground level entrances with door paddles, elevators, and accessible washrooms.
Parking
Windsor Car Park is located a short walk away at 116 Street and 92 Avenue. The evening and all-day weekend flat rate is $5.50.
Bicycle parking is located just south of the main entrance to ETLC.
Transit
The ETLC building is located a short walk from the University LRT station and bus loop, and the route will be signed throughout the conference.
Food
Lunch is included in your full conference registration.
Lunch will have vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Fair Trade coffee and tea and pastries will be provided Saturday and Sunday morning.
