Ken Bondy

Ken is a National Representative for Unifor, the largest private-sector union in Canada, with more than 315,000 members working in every sector of the Canadian economy. Originally working out of the Ford Motor Company Engine and Casting plants in Ontario, he has represented workers in various capacities for 34 years.
For the past 18 years, Ken has worked at the Unifor National office in Toronto with the Health, Safety and Environment Department. Besides representing workers on the recent workplace challenges dealing with COVID-19, his environment-related responsibilities involve advocacy for electric mobility manufacturing investments for Canada, creating workplace climate action plans with a labour perspective, and advocating for a just transition for workers toward a carbon-neutral economy.
